Meltdown?

I found myself delighed today to see colour as I looked out my kitchen window. The red of the buildings and bright blue of the sky is such a contrast to the stark blacks, whites and grays that have overtaken our landscape for far too long this year.

Yes, as things begin to thaw the yard turns into a sloppy, muddy mess, but I still rejoice in coming of Spring. I am reminded that as God by His Holy Spirit begins to melt our hearts and reshape us into His image we get messy also. The glory yet to come is surely worth the temporary muddle.

For I consider that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 ALT
